Physical appearance: colorless transparent glass flake crystal or white granular crystal 

Soluble in water, but organic solvent. 

Good hygroscopicity: it can gradually absorbed moisture in the air to be that like viscose. 

It will be the soluble clathrate after reacting with ion such as calcium and magnesium, etc. 

Produced by that sodium carbonate or caustic soda solution reacts with phosphoric acid,  sodium metaphosphate is heated to 620℃ and polymerizes the crystal, then cooled rapidly and pressed grain. This is sodium hexametaphosphate.

Water treatment agent, corrosion inhibitor, metal surface treatment chemicals, hardened cement accelerator, coated paper pulp diffusion agent and oil drilling etc.
